MAE Beauty Supply (“MAE,” “we,” “us”) operates the website at maebeautysupply.us and serves trade buyers across Canada. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have as a visitor or customer. It is written in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to inquiries and operate the site:

  • Inquiry & contact form data. Name, business name, email, phone, business type, and the message you send.
  • Quote items. Products you add to the quote drawer are stored locally in your browser until you submit.
  • Basic analytics. Pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device type, and timing data, collected by Vercel Analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2. How we use it

  • To respond to your quote requests and contact messages.
  • To send transactional emails related to your inquiry (no marketing emails without your consent).
  • To understand which products and pages are most useful so we can improve the catalog and site.
  • To prevent abuse, spam, and fraud.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business: our hosting and analytics provider (Vercel), our transactional email provider (Resend), and our team. Each is bound by their own privacy and security commitments.

4. Retention

Inquiry and contact records are retained while we have an active commercial relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting and follow-up. Analytics data is retained per Vercel’s default retention.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email info@maebeautysupply.us and we will respond within 30 days.

6. Cookies

The site uses a small number of first-party cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to remember your quote-drawer contents between visits. You can clear these at any time from your browser settings.
